There has been tremendous support for the advancement of young women all over the world in recent years. Significant strides have been made to bridge the socio-economic gaps that occur within this particular subset of society. Sadly however, not all girls can be reached. A case in point are the youth currently in Title 1 schools in low income communities. We observed that many typically have a low self esteem because it has been impressed upon them by their environment and otherwise that they won’t amount to much in society.
